The Support for Excellence (SfE) programme is a Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS)   funded programme, which will help Independent WBL Providers and FE Colleges work together to improve their self-assessment processes, to develop their capacity for self-improvement, and to implement the LSC's Framework for Excellence as it is fully rolled out.

The programme does this primarily through the use of Peer Review and Development (PRD) activity focusing on whole organisation approach.

By ensuring the robustness of self-assessment processes and judgements, and by encouraging collective action to address improvement needs, the SfE programme will support providers/colleges in their move towards self-regulation.
