
Building on the ongoing work with Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK), ALP have signed an engagement strategy for another one year to support and promote the benefits of the Catalyst programme to ALP members and the wider Work Based Learning (WBL) community.
The Catalyst programme by LLUK is designed to generate new opportunities for all further education (FE) providers to shape the workforce of the future. Working with Department for Innovation Universities and Skills (DIUS now known as BIS), the Catalyst programme will introduce recruitment schemes for graduates, managers and vocational specialists, offering new opportunities for teachers, tutors and trainers to update their vocational skills.
As part of the strategic collaboration, ALP will participate and support LLUK activities regarding Catalyst sub programmes and its services, with an aim to facilitate an effective communication between LLUK and ALP members about LLUK work in the FE sector within England.
