Following the achievement of the Learning Innovation Grant (LIG) Programme, which supports the Government‘s Harnessing Technology strategy in the uptake of technology and the use of e‐learning by independent Providers within the learning and skills sector, the Association of Learning Providers (ALP) is hosting a one day conference to share the experiences of training providers who have transformed their business operations through technology by showcasing their successful and innovatory LIG projects.
The keynote speaker, John Davitt, writer, broadcaster and a digital toolmaker, will share with delegates his inspirational approach to using technology to fit the learning need.
This showcase event is important to all independent providers who wish to embrace e-learning and the effective use of technology to support business efficiencies and to improve learning outcomes. The event is designed to support training providers to keep up with the technological changes taking place across the sector where Employability, Apprenticeships and Train to Gain are being delivered. To see first-hand a series of technical ‘speed dating’ demonstrations how providers are successfully using cutting edge technologies to support work based learning.
